CLUB MEETINGS
The club meets every Tuesday from 7:00 P.M. until Midnight. The start time for all events is 7:30 P.M.
USCF MEMBERSHIP
USCF membership is required before entering all club tournaments except Blitz tournaments which are not currently rated by the USCF.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Club membership is required only prior to registration in the annual New Britain Chess Club Qualifying Tournament and New Britain Chess Club Finals and Reserves tournaments. All other activities are open to non-members.

NON-SCHEDULED MEETINGS
The following dates are "free" evenings at the club. Therefore, members have the option of playing Quads, Bughouse, ladder tournaments, Blitz, matches, or simply casual games on these nights.

MEMBERSHIP DUES
The dues structure for the September 1, 2007 - August 30, 2008 year is as follows:
- Regular $30
- Seniors 60 and older $25
- Students $25
- Each additional family member $15
Membership dues are pro-rated if a member joins during the current fiscal year.
Do want to become a New Britain Chess Club member? Come on down for three evenings with no obligation. We are confident you will like us. Please understand that dues are needed to pay for the rent of our building, equipment, and advertising; which can be quite expensive. Please help us keep a good thing going.

I-84 West to Route 72 East (lefthand exit); after merge, immediately shift two lanes right to take exit 7 (Corbin Ave.); go right at end of exit onto Corbin Ave.; take next right (at light) onto Black Rock Ave.; go through one light; at next light take left onto and up Wooster St.; take 4th right onto Quartette Club Road (sign visible from Wooster St.); go slowly up road to club parking lot.
FROM WATERBURY:
I-84 East to Exit 35 (Route 72 East); take exit 7 (Corbin Ave.); go right at end of exit onto Corbin Ave.; take next right (at light) onto Black Rock Ave.; go through one light; at next light take left onto and up Wooster St.; take 4th right onto Quartette Club Road (sign visible from Wooster St.); go slowly up road to club parking lot.
FROM NEW HAVEN:
I-91 North to Exit 22 onto Route 9 North; just past Exit 26 bear left onto Route 72 West; take exit 7 (Corbin Ave.); go left at end of exit onto Corbin Ave.; go through one light; take next right (at light) onto Black Rock Ave.; go through one light; at next light take left onto and up Wooster St.; take 4th right onto Quartette Club Road (sign visible from Wooster St.); go slowly up road to club parking lot.
FROM WETHERSFIELD/NEWINGTON:
Route 175 (Cedar St.) to Route 9 South; follow signs to Route 72 West; take exit 7 (Corbin Ave.); go left at end of exit onto Corbin Ave.; go through one light; take next right (at light) onto Black Rock Ave.; go through one light; at next light take left onto and up Wooster St.; take 4th right onto Quartette Club Road (sign visible from Wooster St.); go slowly up road to club parking lot.
FROM MERIDEN:
Follow directions from New Haven; or take Route 71 North (Chamberlain Highway); follow signs for 71A to Route 372; take left onto 372 West (Corbin Ave.); go through first light (Avery's Soda on left), go through second light, take left at third light onto Steele St.; follow Steele St. up hill and around curve where it becomes Wooster St.; pass Schutzen Park on left; next left is Quartette Club Road; go slowly up road to club parking lot.
FROM MIDDLETOWN:
