Event Description:
Registration

Registration will end promptly at 7:25 p.m. on October 20.
The first round will start at 7:30 p.m. sharp.

Bye Policy

Players may request one half-point bye.

The tournament directors must be notified prior to the start of Round 1.

Entry Fee

$10, $8 for students or seniors 50 and older, $2 more for non-members.

Prizes

Cash prizes to place and class winners will be determined on October 20.

Last Tuesday, during our "mini-break" at the New Britain Chess Club, Randy Shane directed the 5th annual Fall Open Quick Chess Tournament, a four-round, quick-rated event. Congratulations to FM Nelson Castaneda for winning the event. We had a very good turnout.

Prizes were awarded to the players immediately after the tournament.
