Hosted by the New Britain Chess Club and the Quartette Club

REGISTRATION, ROUND, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT START TIMES

Registration: 8:30 to 9:10 a.m.
Round Times: 9:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Award Presentation: 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment provided by "Accusing Society" (A local Rock Band): 6:45 to 9:00 p.m.

HALF-POINT BYES

Players may request on half-point bye. Please notify the tournament directors prior to the start of round 1.

ENTRY FEE

PRIZES

Open Section – Trophies to the top three places, top U2000 and top U1800 winners.
Under 1600 Section – Trophies to the top three places, top U1400 and top U1200 winners. (50 and older), and overall biggest upset.
Tie-Break methods: Modified median, solkoff, cumulative
